Asparuhovo is a village located on the northern slopes of Stara Planina mountain, on the banks of the river Kamchia (where Tsonevo lake begins).
It is situated 80 km southwest of Varna and 76 km northwest of Burgas at the beginning of the Balkan passage between Provadia (33 km) and Aitos (47 km).
